We’re honored and humbled to announce that Curalate has been awarded Most Disruptive Retail Technology at the 12th Annual Retail Systems Awards. (Go us!) The awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the retail sector. Members of our UK team donned their swankiest outfits at the black-tie awards ceremony held on October 19 in London.

Retail Systems wanted to find a company that has come up with the most disruptive retail technology during the past 12 months — one that has the potential to disrupt the way the retail sector operates. Their goal is to champion tech firms with strong solutions that identify a gap in the market or look to improve current ways of working — companies that could well become game-changers by helping to redefine retail in the coming years.

We’ll humblebrag that Curalate is all of those things. Our solutions help brands sell more effectively online by enabling them to build awareness, drive quality traffic to their sites and increase conversions.

For example, Curalate’s technology helped Dune London make user-generated content (UGC) shoppable. Following the introduction of UGC on product pages, the retailer reported an 82% increase in sales where UGC played a part in the transaction over a two-week period after the feature went live. A recent email campaign featuring Dune London’s ‘Your Style’ gallery saw a 55% increase in clickthroughs compared to previous emails not featuring UGC. It resulted in a six-fold increase in revenue generated by the gallery. Overall, Dune London has seen a 28% higher conversion rate among shoppers who engage with UGC during their buying journey, while average order values grew by 17% over three months.
