“Can a region known for hard hats really become a place recognized for software?”
Philadelphia’s NBC10 news posed that question in a Dec. 13 special report called Growing Greater Philadelphia — exploring the region’s rising, thriving business climate.
In a segment about Curalate, co-founders Apu Gupta and Nick Shiftan spoke about the importance of growing the tech sector and creating a long-lasting ecosystem where engineers and tech talent can get Silicon Valley-style jobs on the banks of the Schuylkill River — rather than leaving town after college.
We have offices in New York and Seattle, but Philly will always be home. With 6.3 million hard-working people, high growth in the millennial population, low office rents and amazing universities, we’re poised to help the region develop a world-class startup and tech community that will last for generations.
