The launch of the Creative Solutions Partner program is a significant move by Twitter. It marks a departure from thinking of Twitter as a place for news and customer complaints (sorry, “feedback”) to a place in which people are inspired with compelling visual content. Forward-looking brands like Belk, Fossil, and Sephora are all over this – with feeds full of gorgeous content that convey a lifestyle unique to each brand.

With Curalate, brands will be able to turn their content into storefronts, enabling brands to create thumb-stopping moments that introduce people to their next great find while also enabling brands to demonstrate greater returns from their investment in content. In doing so, Curalate is bringing commerce to a platform with over 330M monthly active users and giving brands entirely new ways to engage their audience.
Prior to Curalate, brands who wished to link content to commerce sites had to rely on customers searching their site for products they saw on social resulting in high bounce rates. Alternately, some brands have to get the support of their technical resources to create custom landing pages or search results pages for specific social content, which tends to slow the speed with which marketers can move. Now, they’re free to move at the speed of social.
The early results of using Curalate in conjunction with Twitter are encouraging. Brands are seeing a 53% reduction in bounce rate, 200% increase in average order value, and a 14x increase in revenue per visit. Beyond this, we’re really excited about the new use cases brands will pioneer with new technology. For instance, turning paid Tweets into shoppable storefronts, building custom audiences to target both ends of the funnel, and even turning customer care into an opportunity to drive product discovery.
